Luang Por Parn Sunantoe, his real name is Pra Kroo Wiharagijjanugarn. He was born in 1875, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaj Im Sutawongs. At a young age he was nicknamed "Parn" because he had a red birthmark on the little finger of his left hand, which was considered an unusual feature of Buddhism. LP Parn received his ordination as a Bikkhu* (Buddhist monk) on April 1, 1895. Luang Phor Parn is revered by many believers around the world as one of the ten greatest guru monks of Thailand today. He was the closest disciple of Luang Phor Niam Wat Noi, Suphanburi, and also a disciple of Luang Phor Nong Wat Klong Madarn. His two great teachers died with their bodies incorrupt. When Luang Phor Parn died in 1928, his body had not decayed, similar to that of his guru teachers.
